Music Moves Me

Good luck and congrats to all of those running the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll races this weekend! That race is definitely on my bucket list. And seeing all the pics coming in from Vegas, made me think it was time to update my running playlist.

Here are some of the songs I have on repeat right now.

Cash Cash & Digital Farm Animals – Millionaire (ft. Nelly). I first heard this song on satellite radio during a road trip for work several months. (Seriously how awesome is satellite radio? I love it! Makes my time spent in the car driving around my tri-state work region much more tolerable.)

Another song I only hear on satellite radio, though I’m pretty sure I saw them perform this song on a TV show not too long ago. I’m Not Famous by AJR.

Sometimes you just need an angry song. You know? Blood in the Cut by K.Flay (explicit) fits that bill for me currently.

Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons with Logic & Ty Dolla $ign ft X Ambassadors with Sucker for Pain (explicit). Really aren’t we all?…

Bad Things by Machine Gun Kelly x Camila Cabello

Giant by Banks & Steelz. Does anyone else hear similarities to Ozzy Osbourne listening to Paul Banks sing?!

Have you fallen in love with the Strumbellas yet? They are quickly becoming a favorite of mine! Their latest song We Don’t Know will make you feel better about life in general.

All Time Low (explicit) by Jon Bellion

During the day when I am in my office, I tend to listen to a local radio station that plays local music, lesser known musicians, interviews, and very few commercials. Occasionally they play a song that gets stuck in my head immediately. Song for Zula bv Phosphorescent is one of those songs. I don’t think that I had even heard of them before now, but this song has apparently been out for a few years.

If you follow me on Instagram (and let’s be real, you really should 😉 ), you know my absolute favorite way to pass the time during a treadmill workout is walking music videos by Walk Off the Earth. They have original music, like I’ll Be Waiting, but also many creative, fun covers of other popular songs. Do yourself a favor and check them out!! You can thank me later.

Take It All Back 2.0 by Judah & the Lion. And I absolutely would!

What’s your go-to song at the moment?
