Are you enjoying a mild November, too? It’s been just gorgeous here and we are loving it! Not that we aren’t having yucky, fall weather. We are, but we have a few days of that and then are rewarded with a couple of days of perfect days in the sixties. I will take that trade-off any day!
Yesterday was no exception, so Sassy and I took Stella out for a hike.
Right after taking this picture, we ran into my younger brother and his wife walking their dog, too. We also ran into five other couples/people (three of them with dogs) along the way. Such a great way to spend the afternoon!
On our way back, we noticed something a bit odd. Do you see it?…
A hedge apple wedged in the “V” of a tree!
I wonder how it got there? Do you think it fell and got stuck there on its own or did someone place it there?
So much has been happening here, but I’m not ready to share it all yet. Just know that it is all good things that I couldn’t be happier about!
I will share this part. I start a new job tomorrow! I am excited and nervous about it. I have had a very hard time finding a job in my field of choice (child safety) here in the last year. Breaking my ankle actually helped me expand my vision and job search. I will now start working as the Office Coordinator at a physical therapy clinic. And the part I am really excited about… I will get to learn and help out as a physical therapy aide!
This job is a huge change for me. I haven’t had a regular Monday-Friday, 8-5 job in years. That part makes me very nervous. Staying in one building all day, everyday? Yikes. I am used to setting my own schedule and having flexibility. A plus of this job is it is close enough to my house, I can walk to work! Love being able to do that again like I did in Oregon.
For now, I am going to keep my current job (health/wellness meeting leader), but cut it back to just Saturdays. We are planning a trip to Disney World in June and that job will become my vacation fund. It’s been several years since we have been. It’s time!
How long have you been at your current job? What do you do?
