Today on my walk I was almost attacked by vicious animals on three different occasions. I may forever be traumatized.
The first was this guy. He was guarding the sidewalk at the end of his driveway like the attack animal he is.
He was maybe 10″ tall, but I think it was mostly fur. Scary. I came within inches of having my ankle scratched off by him! Inches, I tell you.
Then just a few blocks away, I ran into his accomplice. The yin to his yang.
This one was half the size of the first, but I could tell he was twice as vicious. And I think he had already heard I was coming his way and was ready to rumble. I took the
chicken safe way out and headed down the street to the right instead of chancing this encounter.
But the worst was still to come! Just a few blocks later it happened. I ran into the ringleader!
It wasn’t even a dog! She was a cat and she was large and in charge. I think they have it out for me.
Luckily, I made it home safely. Then it was time for some stretching. And I was attacked for real this time! It all started innocently enough. I was sitting on the floor when I gained a shadow.
Guy! He had spent the night and wanted to join me stretching our quad/hip flexors. Right on!
Then we moved on to piriformis stretches. Or at least I did. Guy took advantage of my vulnerable position and jumped me!
When I asked him what the heck he was doing, he replied, “Wrestling!” Stretching, wrestling, same difference I guess. At least to a four-year old boy!
