Is it just me or have you noticed a lack of running posts/tweets/dailymile/etc here lately? No, you would be correct. I haven’t been running. I haven’t been able to run since the wreck mid-August. I haven’t said much about it because I want this blog to be a happy place. But I also don’t want you to think I am just not running for no reason.
That never happens.
The first couple of weeks after the wreck, I honestly didn’t think much about missing runs because I was dealing with the pain and headaches from the whiplash. Now that those two things are no longer constants (but still hanging on!), I think about running. I miss it. I miss going out and just doing it. I haven’t even gotten to try out the sports bra I won! I asked my new doctor (I finally found one here!) about it today. He said I am nowhere near ready to run. Apparently, my body is still dealing with the trauma of the injury. Great.
And then OMG Becky pointed out I will have a lot of ground to make up in my endurance once I am released to run. Crap. I hate it when she’s right. But I am ready for some yoga! Doc is working on some stretches specific to my injury.

I saw Trouble with the Curve Monday.
Loved it! I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan anyway. And Justin Timberlake is quickly becoming another favorite. Amy Adams is great, as usual. This movie was funny, touching and relatable. Go see it and thank me later!
