Crybaby Calves & Compression Socks

I finally broke down and bought a pair of compression socks.  I am really hoping they cut down my recovery time after steep hikes and stadium stairs.  My calves hate those and continue to remind me of their hatred days after the workout.

Stupid calves, get over it already!

I had to get pink!  Because I’m a girl who loves pink.  It makes me happy.

You can get your own pair here.  And the best part?  They are currently 50% off, plus free shipping!  I’m not sure how long the sale lasts, so you may want to order soon if you want that deal.

Do you have compression socks?  When do you wear them?

Double digit runs?! I can only aspire! Maybe by the end of this summer.

After yesterday’s lunge workout, I am wishing I had compression shorts for my upper legs and rear ear. Of course, it only hurts when I move…

Came across your blog via HRG. I LOVE my compression socks (and I had to get pink, too). I wear them when I run and keep them on for a little bit afterwards. I actually have three pairs, two of the expensive runner compression socks, and an ugly pair that I think I “borrowed” from hospital closet (I work in a hospital) that are used to prevent deep vein thromboses, haha. The latter pair I’ll put on under my regular clothes after an intense workout.

      Welcome Julia!

Three pairs of compression socks! I am so jealous after the last couple weeks I have had. I think I now need a pair of compression shorts! Lunges workout on Thursday has me seriously considering an additional purchase.
