I have been quite the shopper lately.  Grocery shopper that is!  I hit up both my favorite stores here this last week.

On Wednesday, after picking OMG Becky up from her dad’s, we went to Trader Joe’s.

I love shopping with other people so they can push the cart and carry the bags.  ;-)

OMG Becky picked out these goodies!  Trader Joe’s Mini Mint Ice Cream Mouthfuls.  We barely even made it into the car before she ripped that package open.  YuMmY!

Veggie Straws, Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels, non-fat Greek yogurt, Bleu Cheese Laughing Cow Wedges, avocado, Pink Lady apples, Gala apples, kiwi .

And then today on the way home from picking up Sassy, we stopped at a local natural foods store.  I had been here a few times when I lived here previously, but it has really grown since then.  It reminded me a lot of the Ashland Food Co-op and Market of Choice in Ashland.  Love!

We were there on a mission.  A mission to find a new vegetable to try.  And we succeeded!

Have you ever tried a Japanese sweet potato?  We will be trying it this weekend.  I’ll let you know what we think.

Including pizza ingredients!

We made this pizza as soon as we got home.  Red onion, Roma tomato, black olives and feta cheese.  It was good, the girls liked it, but I think would have been better with shredded mozzarella.  Or at the very least, more feta.  Next time!  Also, I thought the crust was just okay.  I need to find something I like better.  But hey!  At least I actually cooked today.  That doesn’t always happen, you know.

And now on to the helicopter part of the title.  I cannot tell a lie, that title is a lie.  But I needed something to rhyme.  So as an apology for leading you on, here is a gif (my very first!) that I made just for you.
