Remember how I complained about getting tires last week? Yeah, I take that back.

Monday/New Year’s Eve came in with a bang. It snowed for almost 18 hours straight. Lucky for me, it started around morning rush hour. I only had a morning meeting and was back home pretty quickly.

I forgot how “fun” it is to see people drive in the snow. How about trying to pass the two snowplows in a single lane interstate ramp? Saw it. I stayed way back for fear of what was about to happen. Thankfully, the driver finally wised up, backed off and gave the plows the room needed to do their job.
My niece and nephew came over late morning to spend the night. We did it up right with several appetizers and movies.

And a little football for some of us. We did manage to stay up to welcome the New Year in. Okay, that’s a lie. We stayed up long enough to watch the ball drop in New York. It was actually only 11:00 PM here, but the kids didn’t know the difference. Party animals we are!
AND I found my iPod shuffle! I hadn’t seen it since I moved here. Guess where I found it?…

In the same gym bag that I just cut the lock off of. I opened this little inside pocket and found all sorts of little goodies. I am a smart like that.
Yesterday after a morning work meeting, I joined my parents in their hunt for a new TV stand. I was asked along to referee. Lucky me. ;-)
Along the way, I saw this field full of spots.

It was a huge flock of Canadian geese. They look like rocks!
After my parents found what they wanted at the second store, we headed home for the real work.

OMG, so many cords and components! This is just a small sampling of what was involved. Can you guess who got to play with all that?!
After a few hours and a couple of breaks, including dinner out as my service fee, we I finally had it up and running. I hope I never have to do that again. They are not allowed to move or buy anything new electronic components. Ever.
What did you do for New Year’s Eve?
Are you good with electronics/techy stuff?
What was the last thing you lost and then found?
i love loosing things! But only in the exact moment I find them! ha!
I had totally given up on this iPod! Felt so good to find it.
Yay for your ipod! It’s always interesting the way people drive…how do they forget how to drive in snow over the year?? I Di NOT do techy stuff, my husband does!
I charged it for use immediately!
I always find things the minute after I buy a replacement! I am sooooo un tech savy that it is almost embarrassing :/
Hate when that happens!
I lost my ipod the other day. Today I found it. In the washing machine still attached to my workout tank that just finished going through the spin cycle….Soaked it in rice all day today and guess what? It works! Amazing. =) Funny part is, the day before yesterday I was making fun of my husband because he left his ipod in his pocket and washed it. #Karma By the way, I found you on #StartClean2013.
Welcome Kimberly! Glad your iPod is working again.
Sorry this double posted.:/
No problem!
