I had a great run this morning! I finally broke the 11 minute mile! This is huge for me. I have run in the 10′s before with a group, but I have never completed a run by myself in the 10′s. Yeah me! I can’t wait until my next run!
And now on to other randomness.
I saw this on a walk last week…
Apparently the townsfolk aren’t content just decorating the trees in their own yards. They have moved on to decorating public street signs.
My current favorite breakfast…
Piece of nuts & seeds toast, cream cheese (or goat cheese or Laughing Cow), pepper all topped with a fried egg. Look at that gorgeous yolk! You can’t beat a fresh, brown egg for breakfast!
Since my girls are gone visiting family, I decided I should probably eat their cereal before it went stale. The box felt a little light.
Okay, a lot light. But I’m sure they didn’t put an empty box back. Right. Right, girls?
Nope, not empty. They left an entire 1/8 cup of cereal in that box! Lovely. Hope this breakfast holds me over until lunch! ;-)
Apparently, Leo thinks he needs to accessorize his brassieres.
He’s now trying on my shoes. He favors pink. I’m really surprised he didn’t go for the black heel. But he’s probably right, the black wouldn’t pop as much as the pink against his luxurious, black locks. Fashion master, for sure!
And last, but certainly not least, I found this little nugget to share with you.
How’s that for a slap in the face?! You can read about it here. What the heck, London?
Is that a common world opinion of Americans? Or just someone trying to stir the pot and make a buck?
Do you have a family member that puts back almost empty, food containers? Drives me nuts!
What was your last fitness breakthrough?

Congratulations on breaking 11 minutes!!! I was there in the same boat, and it was the most AMAZING feeling. As time goes on, you’ll only get better. Breaking 10 is just around the corner
Thank you! I am so ready to be in single digits!
My kids are always putting back empty containers. Love the stop sign wreath. It really classes up that stopping zone. And big congrats in breaking 11! Yay! Tou’ll be on your way to 10 soon! And I’d like to buy that bag just for the funniness. If they dealt with people from AL, it had a 75% chance of being true.
Thank you! It always cracks me up when I see an object like that dressed up. Just so unexpected but certainly makes my day!
Congrats on the 11 minutes! Still working on that one myself (right around 12 minutes pace when I do almost 4 miles)!
Thank you! I always joke that slugs could pace me in a race. I guess I need to find faster slugs now!
Sounds like you are well on your way, too!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I don’t like it when family members leave essentially empty food containers, but what I don’t like even more is when they leave food containers open so the food goes stale.
Yep, that would drive me nuts, too. I have more than enough Pampered Chef Twixit! Clips and my girls are pretty good about using them.
Congrats on your 11 minute mile! I use km’s when I run, as I am a silly Canadian, but I have a feeling I am not that fast. And I have been hugely slacking on the running lately, it is no good at all.
Eggs are my favourite breakfast in the world!
Looks like 11 mi. = 17.7027 km. Miles (smaller #) sounds faster!
Congrats on the pace achievement! That\’s a wonderful step. I\’m lucky to live alone so any half eaten treats are totally my fault. oops And I think the London bag is kinda funny. We are seen as fat, lazy and stupid…not true but a stereotype
Thank you! I’m slowing improving, but I will take it!
