You may know these simple, little circles of elastic as ponytail holders. In my house, I know them as kitty crack. Our cats go nuts when they find one. They are the cheapest, best cat toys ever! It’s gotten to the point, we have to make sure the holders are put away in drawers when not in use or they will disappear.

And now I can update this post with this evidence. Just a few hours after the original post, I came out of my shower to find a ruckus. Black fur spinning in circles, chasing something.

Yes, I have a cat and he is very playful! His favorite nontraditional toy is “boxing” the blinds in our bedroom. I imagine he pictures himself as Rocky doing his punches at the top of the stairs.
